Nepal is a rich country in terms of the availability of natural resources. The need is to proper and optimum utilization of such resources. Technical Education and Vocational Training is considered as one of the major vehicle for enhancing socio-economic prosperity of the country. It is well accepted that middle level skilled human resources can be supplied through the TVET as per the requirement for development process of the country. Similarly, individual with the skill and knowledge for employability is another rational of evolving TVET as major development agenda of the country. Thus, as educational sub sector, TVET has been prioritized by the national policy and plan.

Seti Technical School

Seti Technical School is the oldest public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institute operating under CTEVT in Far West Provance. It is situated at Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality ward no. 4 Jogidabre of Doti district. It is located at central point of far western region. It was established in 1990 to provide opportunities to the people of far western development region to train in technical education and vocational training so that they can improve their standard of living as well as contribute in regional development. In order to ensure easy accessibility for people from remote areas, the school has allocated some quotas for the hill districts of the region. The school has been offering TEVT agriculture, health and civil engineering right from its established.
